Songs of Sunday features a collection of poems and lyrics that I have written over many years. As a teacher of adults and youth in Sunday School, in various church assignments, and in teaching my own family, I have prayerfully sought to understand gospel doctrines and the most effective ways to teach them.  I often wrote my impressions as poetry. Doing so helped me to see things more clearly, and in that sense, these poems were personally revelatory. 

In recent years, I began converting my catalog of poetry into lyrics, and ultimately into musical compositions, but I seldom shared them with anyone outside my family. As I prepare lessons in my current teaching role, I frequently write and produce new songs, and I now feel compelled to share them.

The creative works found here are offered to anyone who will receive them. They are the heartfelt expression of my faith, conviction, and witness. All of the songs I share here are sacred to me. I pray that those who listen will gain something meaningful from the experience and perhaps find inspiration as they navigate their own unique and personal spiritual journeys.
